Apple เร่งปล่อย iOS 6.1.1 (build 10B145 ) เพื่อแก้ปัญหา cellular bug เฉพาะใน iPhone 4S [direct download]

เมื่อสัปดาห์ที่แล้ว ทางแอปเปิลได้ปล่อย iOS 6.1.1 beta 1 ออกมาแจกจ่ายให้นักพัฒนา โดยตัวเบต้า 1 นั้นเน้นที่การปรับปรุงแผนที่ในประเทศญี่ปุ่น มาวันนี้ แอปเปิลก็รีบเร่งออก การปล่อย iOS 6.1.1 build  Final version ออกมาอย่างรวดเร็ว ซึ่งแน่นอนว่า iOS 6.1.1 build 10B145 for iPhone 4S only นี้ เป็นคนละ build กับ iOS 6.1.1 beta 1 ที่ออกมาก่อนหน้านี้ สำหรับ build 10B145 นี้ ออกมาเพื่อแก้ปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นใน iOS 6.1 Final version เฉพาะกับ iPhone 4S เท่านั้น

โดยบักนั้นเป็นในส่วนของ ประสิทธิภาพการทำงานเครือข่าย 3G ซึ่งทางเครือข่ายมือถือในยุโรป อย่าง  Vodafone ถึง กับ SMS แจ้งเตือนลูกค้าไม่ให้อัพเกรดเป็น iOS 6.1 นอกจากนี้ยังมีรายงานจากทาง AOL  ว่า iOS 6.1 มีบักเกี่ยวกับ Microsoft Exchange ทำให้มีผู้ใช้ iOS 6.1 มีส่งข้อมูลอกกมา ยัง AOL เป็นจำนวนมากไม่หยุด ในลักษณะวนซ้ำไปมา จน AOL ต้องปิด Meeting Service เป็นการชั่วคราว (จดหมายการแจ้งจาก AOL อ่านได้ท้ายบทความ) ซึ่งยังไม่ได้แก้ไขใน iOS 6.1.1 นี้

สำหรับผู้ใช้ทั่วไปสามารถดาวน์โฟลดได้ผ่าน Software update ในเครื่อง iPhone 4S (OTA) ไฟล์มีขนาดประมาณ 23 MB. ส่วนผู้สนใจจะเจลเบรค แนะนำให้ทำการ backup ข้อมูลด้วย iTunes แล้ว restore firmware ก่อนการเจลเบรค

มีอะไรใหม่ใน iOS 6.1.1?

สำหรับขาเจลเบรคทั้งหลาย ข่าวดี คือแอปเปิลไม่ได้ปิดช่องโหว่ที่ใช้ใน Evasi0n ในการออก iOS 6.1.1 เนื่องจากรีบเร่งออกมาแก้บักที่เกิดกับ iPhone 4S เท่านั้น เราสามารถใช้ Evasi0n 1.3 (ตัวใหม่ล่าสุด) ในการเจลเบรค แบบ untethered jailbreak กับ iOS 6.1.1 สำหรับ iPhone 4S ได้ สำหรับ iOS 6.1.1 beta ถัดไป น่าจะมีการเปลียนแปลงหมายเลขเวอร์ชั่นต่อไป เนื่องจากเป็นคนละตัวกัน

The Enterprise Messaging Operations team has been monitoring unusually high traffic on the enterprise mail environment originating from iOS devices running the new iOS 6.1 update. We have researched and identified a bug that causes the “iDevice” to continuously loop while synchronizing a recurring meeting invite. Some of you may notice additional side effects including poor battery life and overall degraded device performance.
The team continues to work with Apple and Microsoft to resolve the issue. However, until resolved, we’re forced to temporarily disable the ability to accept or manage meetings using any mobile device. Users will still be able to view their calendars and sendreceive email on their mobile devices during this time. Users will also continue to have the ability to manage their calendars using their normal mail clients and using Outlook Web access.
