Apple ปล่อย iTunes 11.1 beta 1 เพิ่ม iTunes Radio และ Apple TV 5.4 seed 3 แล้ว [download link]

นอกจากปล่อย iOS 7 beta 4  แล้ว แอปเปิลก็ปล่อย โปรแกรม iTunes 11.1 beta 1 (build 11.1b44) และ Apple TV 5.4 seed 3 ตามออกมาด้วย iTunes 11.1 beta นี้ ออกมาเพื่อรองรับการใช้งาน iTunes Radio บริการสตรีมเพลง ที่มีการเพิ่มมาใน iOS 7 ซึ่ง จำกัดเฉพาะในสหรัฐอเมริกา และมีแต่เวอร์ชั่น Mac เท่านั้น

ฟีเจอร์ iTunes Radio บน iTunes นี้จะรวมอยู่กับส่วนของ Music ซึ่งแอปเปิลก็เตรียม ช่องเพลง มาให้จำนวนหนึ่ง และเพิ่มได้เองตามต้องการ โดยมีทางเลือกในการเพิ่ม จากแนวเพลง, ศิลปิน, ชื่อเพลง ซึ่งมีเพลงไทยอยู่ใน iTunes Radio ด้วย

หลักการทำงาน iTunes Radio คือการสตรีมเพลงมาจากอินเทอร์เน็ต ดังนั้นต้องต่อเน็ตตลอดเวลา  ขณะเล่นเพลงก็จะมี ราคาเพลงนั้น ๆ ปรากฎอยู่ที่ท้ายเพลง เพื่อสนใจซื้อเก็บไว้นั่นเอง ในระยะแรกนั้น แอปเปิล คงเปิดให้บริการใน สหรัฐอเมริกา และตามด้วยประเทศในแถบยุโรป ส่วนประเทศไทย คง ต้องใช้เวลาอีกสักพักใหญ่ ๆ

สำหรับ Apple TV 5.4 seed 3 นั้นมีการแก้บักไปหลายตัว และมีการเพิ่มฟีเจอร์ อย่างเช่น ใช้อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ iOS 7 ทำการตั้งค่า Apple TV หลังจาก restore หรือ reset all settings ไปได้ (ยกเว้น iPhone 4 และ iPad 2)

ส่วนที่มีการแก้ไขก็มีดังนี้

•     Apple TV may not connect to the Internet on first boot after an iTunes Restore when using Ethernet.
•     Music playback may skip over tracks when AirPlay is engaged
•     AirPlay of audio from the Music app may fail to start up properly.
•     Attempting to delete a station in iTunes Radio may cause Apple TV to crash.
•     Switching between Apple IDs may cause music libraries to fail to load.
•     Audio volume may increase dramatically during AirPlay.
•     When using AirPlay to send music to Apple TV, advancing to the next track may fail.
•     You may notice these issues when fast-forwarding 3rd party content:
•     Audio continues to play while video is fast-forwarding.
•     Resuming playback after fast-forwarding can result in a temporarily stuck video frame.
•     Apple TV may become sluggish or unresponsive immediately after signing in to an iTunes Store account.
•     iTunes Match or Purchased music content may not be listed alphabetically. Use Search as an alternative for finding content.
