Apple ปล่อยอัพเดตเพื่อความปลอดภัย OS X Security Update 2013-003 สำหรับผู้ใช้ OS X แล้ว

ทางแอปเปิลได้ปล่อยตัวอัพเดตใหม่สำหรับ OS X สำหรับผู้ใช้ Lion และ Mountain Lion กับ OS X Security Update 2013-003 เมื่อวันที่ 2 ก.ค. ที่ผ่านมา โดยตัวอัพเดตนี้ ทางแอปเปิล แนะนำให้ ผู้ใช้ทุกคนอัพเดต เพื่อปรับปรุงความปลอดภัยในส่วนของ QuickTime ให้ดีขึ้น ตามรายละเอียดดังนี้

- QuickTime
Available for: Mac OS X 10.6.8, Mac OS X Server 10.6.8, OS X Lion v10.7.5, OS X Lion Server v10.7.5, OS X Mountain Lion v10.8.4
Impact: Playing a maliciously crafted movie file may lead to an unexpected application termination or arbitrary code execution
Description: A buffer overflow existed in the handling of Sorenson encoded movie files. This issue was addressed through improved bounds checking.

ผู้ใช้ OS X ทั้งหลาย สามารถอัพเดต OS X Security Update 2013-003 นี้ได้ผ่านทาง Mac App Store โดยไปที่แท็บ Update ทั้งนี้เมื่อติดตั้งเสร็จ จำเป็นต้องรีสตาร์ทเครื่องด้วย
