หลังจากดู คลิปวีดีโอ iPhone 5 part leaked with real picture กันไปแล้ว คราวนี้เรามาดูรายละเอียด ของ iPhone 5 หรือ Verizon CDMA iPhone กันต่อ โดยทาง Global Direct Parts ได้นำ ชิ้นส่วน iPhone 4 มาประกบกับ iPhone ต้นแบบตัวใหม่ เพื่อให้เห็นข้อแตกต่างกันอย่างชัดเจน   โดยทั่วไปแล้ว หน้าตาก็ไม่ต่างจาก iPhone 4 เท่าไหร่นัก

ซึ่งจากรูปจะเห็นความขนาดนั้นแทบจะไม่ต่างกันเลย ดังนั้นเป็นไปได้ว่า iPhone ต้นแบบที่หลุดมานี้ อาจจะเป็น iPhone ตัวต่อไป ที่ถอดแบบมาจาก iPhone 4 และมีการปรับปรุงในบางส่วน ซึงในส่วนวงกลมสีแดง จะเห็นว่า แถบเสาสัญญาณมีการเปลี่ยนแปลง จากเดิมที่มี 3 ส่วนด้วยกัน ตอนนี้ถูกแบ่งออกเป็น 4 ส่วนแทน  ซึ่งถ้าให้เดาล้วน ๆ แถบสัญญาณที่เพิ่มมา
น่าจะเป็น เสาสัญญาณโทรศัพท์ระบบ CDMA

รวมถึง การย้ายแถบสัญญาณ เพื่อแก้ปัญหา “antennagate” ที่ทำให้มีปัญหา สายหลุดเมื่อโทรออก ที่เป็นข่าวครึกโครมปีที่แล้ว ส่วนที่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอีกก็คือ ปุ่มปิดเสียงเข้าโหมดสั่น และปุ่มปรับเสียง ที่ไม่เหมือนเดิม แต่ SIM card slot อยู่ รวมทั้ง 30 pin dock connector เหมือนกับ iPhone รุ่นก่อน ๆ ลำโพง ไมโครโฟน และจุดขันน๊อต ทุกอย่างยังอยู่ตำแหน่งเดิมทั้งหมด

ส่วนรายละเอียด iPhone 5 / Verizon CDMA iPhone ตามคลิป มีรายละเอียดดังนี้

• Phone 5 charging port flex cable ribbon is longer
• iPhone 5 audio flex ribbon a lot bigger and very different
• iPhone 5 microphone is connected to the audio flex ribbon unlike the iPhone 4 microphone
• iPhone 5 audio flex ribbon microphone comes without vibe-motor contact
• iPhone 5 middle plate has a new separation line on top of the mute button – possible to prevent further Antennagate issues (see picture above)
• iPhone 5 mute button is slightly lower
• iPhone 5 middle plate lacks the separation line near the headset jack, the one the iPhone 4 comes by default with
• iPhone 5 middle plate has a new separation line on the right hand side of the plate, near the base of the phone
• iPhone 5 still comes with SIM Card which means we’re either looking at a dual CDMA/GSM iPhone 5 or at an AT&T iPhone 5
• iPhone 5 front side of the middle plate – no camera whole and different screw holes positions
• iPhone 5 front side of the middle plate comes with a metal band that goes through the whole plate and through the home button. It could be a feature also intended to prevent further signal loss
• iPhone 5 back side of the middle plate – no camera on the back and different wholes in different positions. Extra screws are also present.
